Parashakti Agri Seva Pvt Ltd — Shaktigram Enumerator Application
Effective date: 20 June 2026 Last updated: 20 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Parashakti Agri Seva Pvt Ltd ("Parashakti", "Company", "we", "us") handles personal data in connection with the Shaktigram application and platform. It is addressed primarily to our enumerators (field surveyors). For data protection purposes, Parashakti Agri Seva Pvt Ltd is the Data Fiduciary for enumerator personal data.
Personal data that the app collects from survey respondents is governed by a separate Respondent Notice & Consent shown in the app at the time of collection (see Section 4).
1. Who we are
Parashakti Agri Seva Pvt Ltd is a company incorporated in India, with its registered office at Office No. 204–205, One42, North Tower, Bopal–Ambli Road, Thaltej, Ahmedabad – 380054, Gujarat, India, and is the operator of the Shaktigram platform and application.
2. Personal data we collect from enumerators
We collect only what we need to onboard, pay, deploy, and quality-check field work:
- Identity and verification (KYC): your name, photograph, date of birth, and identity-verification tokens generated through a licensed eKYC provider. We do not store your full Aadhaar number — we retain only the verification token or reference returned by the eKYC provider, together with your PAN where required for tax.
- Contact: phone number, email address, and postal address.
- Payment: bank account / UPI details and tax identifiers required to pay you.
- Device and app data: device identifiers, app version, IP address, and diagnostic logs.
- Location: GPS coordinates while you are on an active field assignment, to confirm where data was collected.
- Work and quality data: assignments, submissions, timestamps, back-check outcomes, performance metrics, and audio recordings and photographs captured through the app for quality assurance and fraud detection.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent and to perform our agreement with you, for the following purposes: onboarding, identity verification and training; assigning and managing field work; processing your payment; quality assurance and fraud or fabrication detection (including back-checks); and platform security and legal compliance. Consent is sought through a clear, itemised notice when you sign up.
4. Data collected from survey respondents
The app is used to collect survey data from respondents. That data is collected for the organisation responsible for each study (a client, or Parashakti for its own studies) and is governed by the in-app Respondent Notice & Consent, not by this policy. Any survey data we reuse for our own research datasets is first irreversibly anonymised so that it no longer identifies any respondent; we do not retain identifiable respondent data for that purpose.
5. Who we share enumerator data with
- Service providers (cloud hosting, payment, eKYC, communications) under contract and bound to equivalent protections.
- Clients receive only aggregated survey outputs. Clients are never given enumerators' personal data or other personally identifiable information.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.
6. Where your data is stored
Your personal data is stored on servers located in India and is not transferred outside India.
7. How long we keep it
- Inactivity: if your account has no logins or assignments for 12 months, we send a confirmation notice and allow 30 days to respond. If we receive no response, we deactivate the account.
- On deactivation: operational and GPS data is deleted within 6 months.
- Financial and legal records are retained for the period required under applicable law (for example, tax, company-law, and limitation requirements — typically three to eight years).
- Training and certification records are retained for as long as needed to allow you future access to your credentials, unless you exercise your right to erasure under the DPDP Act.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may: access a summary of your personal data and how it is processed; request correction or completion; request erasure; withdraw consent at any time (as easily as you gave it); nominate another person to exercise your rights; and raise a grievance. To exercise any right, contact our Grievance Officer (Section 10). We will respond within the timelines prescribed under the DPDP framework.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and are working towards alignment with ISO/IEC 27001 (information security) and ISO/IEC 27701 (privacy information management); we do not currently claim certification. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals within the prescribed timelines.
10. Grievance Officer and contact
Rishabh Bordia, Grievance Officer — rrb@shaktigram.com. You may contact the Grievance Officer to exercise your rights or raise a concern. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
11. Children
Enumerators must be adults aged 18 or over. Field surveys never collect data directly from a child and do not capture a child's name; some information about children in a household may be reported by a consenting parent or guardian and is handled under the in-app Respondent Notice with the protections the law requires — not under this policy.
12. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the revised version with a new effective date.
